Itstores your Pump and Sensor data of the last 90 days. Keep the PDM with you atall times so that, when needed, you are able to deliver a bolus, change the basalrate, check your glucose level and so on.When RF communication is lost or interrupted because of adverse conditions oroverlong distance, you will not be able to use your PDM to control or monitor yourPatch Pump or Continuous Glucose Monitoring System. Yetthe Patch Pump is ableto continue delivering basal insulin based on your programmed settings, performsafety checks and automatically stop delivery in case of serious conditions. TheTransmitter can continue to record sensor glucose readings. The PDM is designedto detect and notify you about a disconnection. As soon as the problem is solved,RF communication will be resumed.
